An internally threaded, 14k rose gold disc backing for Maria Tash earrings in both 16 gauge and 18 gauge. Suitable for replacing missing parts or for altering the post length of your Maria Tash body jewellery.

Comprised of 100% premium 14k rose gold. Available in various post lengths in either a large rounded 6mm disc stud or a petite 3.5mm disc. Two post gauges available, 16g and 18g.

The jewellery will suit various ear piercings. They are perfect for tragus piercings, helix, upper and forward cartilage piercings and in the traditional lobes. The piece includes a FLAT 14k gold disc ball with threaded backing (as shown) and this style is recommended for cartilage, tragus and helix jewellery as opposed to the butterfly backs.

6.5mm (1/4") fits an average helix or upper cartilage, and is the post length we use most commonly use. 5mm (3/16") fits a thin helix or upper cartilage. This length also works in the middle cartilage area. If a traditional ear stud sticks out from its backing in your lobe or helix, you wear a 5mm post.
